93.514 Affordable Care Act (ACA) Expansion of Physician Assistant Training Program

Department of Health and Human Services

The Expansion of Physician Assistant Training Program is a five-year initiative to increase the number of physician assistants in the primary care workforce. Grantees are physician assistant education programs that commit to sustaining an increased number of students for five consecutive years. Awards facilitate this expansion by supporting higher enrollment by funding new student stipends, educational expenses, reasonable living expenses, and indirect costs.
