Party Time Job Opportunity

The Sunlight Foundation is seeking a blogger for its popular Political Party Time project, tracking political fundraisers. The position is paid with negotiable hours, starting immediately in Washington, D.C.
We are looking for a person who has:
• a tolerance for detail work
• an interest in politics and some working knowledge of the players, particularly those in Congress
• a flair for writing and an eye for a good story.
The Party Time blogger works with a staff of experienced journalists and technologists to build and maintain a unique database of political fundraisers and mine stories from it. Primary responsibilities include data entry and processing; in addition, there will be regular opportunities to write posts for the Party Time blog, which is widely read by the news media. Applicants must have basic computer skills and should be able to work unsupervised.
