Thom Neale is a web developer on the Open States Project, an effort to scrape and standardize legislative information from all fifty states. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. Before joining Sunlight Labs, he worked as a legislative analyst at the New York State Assembly and as a legal editor for the New York State Court of Appeals. When not programming, Thom enjoys playing Rock Band and taking his son, Jacob, to the playground
