Andrés Nigenda Zárate

Summer Fellow

As a Web Integrity Project Fellow, Andrés is conducting research that ties together all the LGBTQ-related changes that have been observed during the current administration. He is also working on developing tools that contribute to WIP’s monitoring of agency websites.

Andrés is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Computational Analysis and Public Policy at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Before moving to Chicago, he was a Deputy Director of Data Analysis at Mexico’s National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy, where he worked on implementing and promoting the impact evaluation of federal programs. Andrés earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
