Saeb Ahsan is an Open Cities Fellow and is working to develop best practices for city-to-city collaboration.
Before Sunlight, Saeb consulted for Accenture and Allscripts, where he focused on the health and human service sectors, including the developments related to the HITECH (Health IT) Act and the Affordable Care Act. Saeb started his work in local government through an internship and advisory council role for the City of Chicago’s Commission on Human Relations.
Saeb graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BSc in Finance. He then studied Turkish entrepreneurship and corporate citizenship at Koç University in Istanbul as a Fulbright Fellow. He is currently a Pearson Fellow and Masters in Public Policy Candidate at the University of Chicago.
