A round up of what we’re seeing in online disclosures:

American Crossroads reports ad buys against Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo. Sister group Crossroads GPS--which doesn't disclose donors--reports ad buys against Democratic Senate candidates Alex Giannoulias of Illinois and Jack Conway of Kentucky.

Future is now: Revolver Michael Werner of Holland & Knight LLP hired by Life Technologies Corporation to lobby on federal guidelines regarding synthetic biology research.

Home sweet health care: Podesta Group registers to lobby for Louisiana-based Home Health Advocacy Coalition on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulations; note all the revolvers and affiliates. Not much of a google trail for the coalition. Reference to CMS regulations here?

Dinner plans: Pan African financial firm Ecobank Transnational Incorporated has hired the Whitaker Group, which focuses on serving clients in Africa including work on government relations, to monitor opportunities for funding from OPIC, Treasury, World Bank and IMF, and to "provide strategic support and key stakeholder outreach during Ecobank's planned dinner, including securing the attendance of high-level business and policy leaders in Washington. Ecobank featured at July meeting arranged by Whitaker.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em: Cigar night and bourbon tasting fundraiser for Rep. Ken Calvert. Check out all the upcoming fundraisers at our Party Time site.

It's a bird, it's a plane: It's SuperPAC for America! It's not clear that it will be more powerful than Americans for Job Security, faster than the U.S. Chamber of Commerce or able to avoid disclosing its donors in a single bound (ok, we're reaching) like Crossroads GPS, but Dick Morris (a strange being from another planet?) has launched his own independent expenditure committee that can take unlimited donations from any source.

Deal: GE is buying Dresser Industries for $3 billion to boost its oil tools division. GE's influence profile is here. Top recipient in the House in 2010: Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn.
