  • Political donations – coming soon to a phone near you: Two fundraising firms are asking the FEC to approve their request to accept political contributions via text message. They say they have worked around technical problems that prevented the rule from passing in 2010. (Washington Post)

  • We are who we are…on the internet: Mozilla and the city of San Francisco are teaming up to make it easier to connect with government and verify identity via the internet. The effort is part of a federal initiative to produce a better system for managing verified identity online. (Tech President)
