This picture violated House rules. The New York Daily News reports that Rep. [sw: Vito Fossella] (R-N.Y.) used three photographs — including this photo of Vito with Elmo and Rosita — "in campaign flyers and in free mailings to constituents" in violation of House rules.

We are still waiting to hear if Vito addressed Elmo’s worries about his father’s deployment to Iraq.
