Ever wondered where the top lobbying firms are located in Washington, DC? Wonder no more. Here’s a map of the top ten Washington lobbying firms ranked by amount of lobbying income in the first quarter of 2010.

The majority of the firms find themselves in immediate walking distance of the White House and the Department of the Treasury. A couple are located very close to Congress. Only one is located on K Street.

The offices of Van Scoyoc Associates are situated in the building above Charlie Palmer Steak, a favorite of lawmakers and fundraisers.

All information comes from the Center for Responsive Politics.

Each lobbying firm node contains the address, the total lobbying income for the first quarter of 2010 and the top five issues that the firm handles.

Top issues were determined by calculating the percentage of total reports filed that mention a specific issue.

The most common issue remains appropriations and the federal budget.
