Improving Sunlight’s Site with Issue Pages
Today we’re officially unveiling a new ‘Issues We Cover‘ page along with improvements to our site search. The addition is a response to many users searching common terms and arriving on a range of results, often very specialized or topical rather than explanatory. The issue pages are quick overviews of a variety of topics we frequently deal with and links to Sunlight’s stance, projects, featured reporting and relevant press coverage. Here is the current list of pages:
- Citizens United v. FEC
- Congressional Research Service (CRS)
- Data Visualizations
- Earmarks
- Electronic Filing (e-Filing)
- Lobbying
- Save the Data Campaign
- Sunshine Week
- The 72 Hour Rule and Read the Bill Movement
The list will continue to expand and shift as our work moves forward. We hope this addition better directs users around our site and welcome any feedback in the comments section below. Are there any topic pages that you’d like to see?
