The Washington Examiner profiles one the most powerful lobbyists in Washington, PhRMA chief Billy Tauzin. Tauzin, a former Louisiana congressman, gained infamy when it was revealed that he was in job negotiations with PhRMA while he was writing the 2003 Medicare prescription drug overhaul in Congress.

Lobbyists are delighted about Sen. Blanche Lincoln’s rise to chair the Senate Agriculture Committee.

Still more complain about the lobbying rules adopted by the White House for the revolving door and stimulus spending.
